THE SURGE IS WORKING! THE SURGE IS WORKING!! THE SURGE IS WORKING!!!

So many achievements we can all be proud of, so many milestones surpassed as we surge forward to a brighter tomorrow: 4,000 American dead in Iraq, 1,000,000 Iraqis killed, $100 for a barrel of crude oil, $4.00 for a gallon of gas, $5.00 for a loaf of bread, $500 billion for the "War on Terror."

Let's take a closer look.

Life seems to get cheaper as the cost of everything else skyrockets, but never mind. Just repeat after me:

The surge is working, and we are better off now than we were back then. . .
The surge is working, and we are better off now than we were back then. . .
The surge is working, and we are better off now than we were back then. . .
